A California surgeon who was previously accused of drugging and sexually assaulting two women with the help of his girlfriend was charged in five more cases on Wednesday, CNN reports. Grant Robicheaux, 38, has now been accused of drugging and raping a total of seven women, while his girlfriend, 31-year-old Cerissa Riley, has been charged in five cases. Prosecutors also reportedly added kidnapping charges against the couple, claiming they met their victims in a public place, drugged them, and brought them back to their home without their consent. Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said Riley and Robicheaux, an orthopedic surgeon who appeared on the Bravo reality-TV series Online Dating Rituals of the American Male, brought victims to their home “with the intent to sexually assault their prey.” Rackauckas previously said prosecutors had established 12 “credible potential victims” with allegations against the couple. Both Robicheaux and Riley pleaded not guilty to the new charges and their bail was set at $1 million each. If convicted on all charges, they could both be sentenced to life in prison. Their pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Jan. 18.
