Old habits die hard: Actor Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, are facing felony burglary charges after the new owners of the couple’s old house reported they were squatting on the property. Police found the Quaids in the guest house; they told officers that they’d owned the home since the 1990s. But the new owner produced documents showing the home had been purchased three years ago from a man who bought it from the Quaids, and a contractor pointed out $5,000 in damages he said the Quaids did to the guest house. The couple was also arrested on misdemeanor charges of entering a noncommercial building without consent, and Evi was charged with resisting arrest. Last fall, the Quaids faced charges of fraud, burglary, and conspiracy after using a bad credit card at a California resort.
