Randy Quaid Accused of Burglary

Here’s a vacation that’s easy to lampoon. Sources have told TMZ that actor Randy Quaid (Independence Day) and his wife Evi were busted on charges of felony burglary Saturday afternoon—after they were caught living in their former home. When the owner of the home sent a realtor to the house after an alarm went off Saturday morning, the realtor came across some strange renovations to the property: the gate codes had been changed, security cameras were all facing up, and Quaid had carved his initials into the mailbox. And the pièce de résistance? The Quaids allegedly broke a $7,000 mirror hanging over the fireplace and replaced it with their family photo, sources told TMZ. The confused couple were charged with felony residential burglary and entering a noncommercial building without consent, a misdemeanor offense. Evi was also charged with resisting arrest.
