Pulitzer Prizes Announced

The Pulitzer Prizes are out: The Washington Post won four awards, including for international reporting, feature writing, commentary, and criticism. The New York Times, meanwhile, won for national reporting and explanatory reporting, while ProPublica and The New York Times Magazine shared a prize with the Philadelphia Daily News for investigative reporting. In fiction, a small novel one: Tinkers by Paul Harding. Liaquat Ahamed’s Lords of Finance: The Bankers Who Broke the World won for History while T.J. Stiles’ The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt won for biography.
