Protests in Waco Over Bikers' Jailing

Hundreds of bikers gathered outside a Waco, Texas, courthouse on Sunday to protest the continued jailing of more than 100 bikers three weeks after gunfire broke out at an area restaurant. The Confederation of Clubs and Independents asked members to avoid the protest, which was organized by the local chapter of the Sons of Liberty motorcycle club. The May 17 incident that led to the jailing left nine people dead and 18 others injured. It's still unclear what sparked the shootout but Waco police have said they opened fire after being shot at. Police have declined to release any detailed reports and said they are still awaiting ballistic reports.
