Prisoner Surfs Out of Jail in Norway

An inmate in Norway escaped an island prison by climbing out a window and using a surfboard to get to shore. He allegedly paddled using a toy spade to get to the mainland. Bastoy prison, where he was held, is known for its unlocked rooms, windows without bars, and outdoor sports. He was serving time for rape and drug charges and if caught will be transferred to a more secure jail.
