Poll: De Blasio Comes in Last Among New Yorkers' Picks for President

Only five percent of New York voters chose New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio when asked which of New York's political figures would make the best president in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, New York Patch reports. De Blasio reportedly polled dead last in a list that included Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, former mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez—who is currently too young to be eligible for president. Bloomberg reportedly led the poll with 28 percent, followed by Cuomo with 17, Gillibrand with 11, and Ocasio-Cortez with seven. While de Blasio has not yet ruled out a 2020 run, the statewide polling doesn't seem in his favor. The poll also reportedly found that 44 percent of voters have an unfavorable view of him, compared to 32 percent who see him positively.
