Police now say a single serial killer is likely to blame for the 10 bodies found on Long Island. They had previously suspected the murders may have been the work of as many as three different people. Investigators now also say the bodies of a man and a toddler may have been connected with the sex trade (the other eight bodies were of women who worked as prostitutes), but they would not elaborate. They also now believe the murderer is a Long Islander. The 10 bodies were found between December and April along a stretch of Ocean Parkway.
