Police in Massachusetts say a man broke into a home on Massachusetts’s Martha’s Vineyard and painted the owner’s dog purple on Saturday. The suspect, identified as Felix Reagan, faces charges of breaking and entering in the daytime with the intent to commit a felony, cruelty to animals, and larceny of a motor vehicle. Police received a call Saturday afternoon saying someone had stolen a car, crashed it, and then fled on foot. They responded to the area only to learn that someone had broken into a home not far from the crash site and stolen several items before painting the dog purple. When police found Reagan, he had purple paint all over his pants, they said.
