Poland Sets Election for June 20

In the wake of Polish President Lech Kaczynski's death in an airplane crash in Russia on April 10, acting President Bronislaw Komorowski has scheduled a new election, set for June 20. Reuters reports that the acting president is leading opinion polls by a considerable margin, and is likely to beat out Jaroslaw Kaczynski—the late president's twin brother—who leads the main opposition party.
