Poisoned Spy Sergei Skripal No Longer in Critical Condition

Former Russian spy Sergei Skripal, who was attacked in Britain with a nerve agent last month, is “no longer in a critical condition” and “improving rapidly,” the BBC reports. Salisbury District Hospital said Skripal was “responding well to treatment” more than a month after he and his daughter Yulia were found unconscious at a mall bench. Medical Director Christine Blanshard said the hospital confirmed that Yulia’s condition “had improved to stable” last week and is looking forward to being able to leave the hospital—although she did not disclose when that might be.
