Pinckney’s Mourners Line Up at 3:30 A.M.

The first mourners lined up at 3:30 a.m. to attend the funeral of Rev. Clementa Pinckney, the slain pastor of Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. “In spite of the tragedy, it caused a lot of people to come together,” one woman said. “I think what the devil had as bad, God turned it over for good. It’s amazing, but good amazing.” Officials don’t have an estimate yet of how many people will be able to go inside for the service. Pinckney, who was also a state senator, will be eulogized by President Obama on Friday at the statehouse.
