PGA Star Kidnapped, Beaten in HI

As Australian pro-golfer Robert Allenby was preparing to head home after missing qualifications for the Sony Open in Hawaii, he was kidnapped on Friday night from a local bar in Honolulu. Hours later Allenby, who had been having drinks with his caddie and a friend, awoke in a park six miles away robbed of his wallet and cell phone. Allenby is the first golfer to complete the Australian “Triple Crown”—victories at the Australian Open, Australian PGA Championship, and Australian Masters. He has won four times on the U.S. PGA Tour.
