Looks like the San Francisco 49ers might be sweet on Peyton Manning. Coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman watched Manning work out on Tuesday—but the Broncos are reportedly not giving up so fast. The Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans, and Miami Dolphins are also said to be interested in Manning. Last Friday, Broncos officials attended a Manning workout in North Carolina, and on Wednesday, he met with Titans reps for almost seven hours. The 49ers were latecomers to the Manning sweepstakes, but their current quarterback, Alex Smith, recently became a free agent despite being close to signing a deal to stay.
