Parents Lose Custody of ‘Adolf Hitler’

On Thursday, a New Jersey state appeals court ruled to keep Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell away from their parents, Heath and Deborah Campbell. The family grabbed national headlines when a New Jersey bakery refused to decorate a birthday cake for Adolf. A month later in January 2009, all three children were removed from their home and placed into foster care. A family court had determined earler that there was not enough evidence that Heath and Deborah had neglected or abused any of their kids, but the state appeals court ultimately decided there were substantial reasons as to why the parents should not regain custody—namely the fact that both Heath and Deborah are unemployed, are victims of childhood abuse, and hadn't “received adequate treatment for their serious psychological conditions.”
