Palin Hacker Found Guilty

Don’t cross Sarah Palin: The college student who hacked Palin’s email was found guilty on charges of obstruction of justice and unauthorized access. However, David Kernell was found not guilty of wire fraud and there was a mistrial on the charge of identity theft. The unauthorized access charge is a misdemeanor; however, the obstruction of justice charges carries a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and a fine of up to $250,000. The judge will decide Kernell’s sentencing.
