It was a rainy day in Baltimore, but the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown, was still up and running. Oxbow won the race, the 138th running of the stakes. For heavy pre-race favorite Orb, who won the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago under similarly damp conditions, the weather wasn’t deemed a concern.
