Oscar Pistorius to Be Indicted for Murder

Olympic double amputee track star, Oscar Pistorius, will be served with an indictment in a South African court Monday, setting the scene for the first phase of the sprinter's trial which will begin in March 2014. Pistorius was charged with premeditated murder in the death of Reeva Steenkamp, his girlfriend—whose 30th birthday happens to be Monday. According to a police statement, the team "is convinced that the accused has a charge to answer." Pistorius denies the charge, saying that he shot Steenkamp on Valentine's Day in his home by mistake thinking she was a dangerous intruder.
