Official: No Evidence of ISIS, al Qaeda Ties for London Attacker

There is no evidence to suggest that Khalid Masood, the man who Scotland Yard said rammed his car into a crowd outside Westminster Palace in London and went on a stabbing spree last week, was connected to ISIS or al Qaeda, a senior counterterrorism official told the AP. Masood, 52, killed three people in the attack last week, including a British police officer and an American tourist. He was fatally shot at the scene by a responding officer. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
