Octuplet Mommy Speaks

Nadya Suleman always wanted siblings, so she gave each of her children thirteen. "I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up," said the California mother, who recently birthed octuplets, on NBC's Today Show. Suleman, who is unemployed and lives with her parents, used the sperm of an old admirer to get pregnant with her first six children. She then implanted the embryos left over from that treatment to have eight more babies. "So I took a risk. It's a gamble. It always is," said the 33-year-old.
