Obama's Stimulus Czar

The stimulus is, according to The Washington Post, “the ultimate test of government's ability to deliver, from a vast array of federal agencies and departments down to state and local offices across the country.” So who will administer it? The Post reports separately that President Obama will appoint Earl E. Devaney, “a former Secret Service agent who helped expose lobbying corruption at the Interior Department,” with overseeing the $787 billion stimulus. Officially, he will chair the new Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board.
