White House social secretary Desiree Rogers was spotted at the Donna Karan show yesterday, sitting snugly in between Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Vogue fashion editor Virginia Smith. The keeper of all of Obama's invites was also spotted at the Carolina Herrera tent yesterday, telling WWD: "I do like her work, but this collection was very different from what I have seen in the past. I particularly liked the dresses that were a classic silhouette but had a bell sleeve and were a little shorter, just below the knee. Those are easier to wear than the long ballgowns." Is Rogers the latest fashion icon to emerge from the White House? As long as Michelle remains a no-show at the tents, she may be the next best thing.
