Alan Keyes is a crazy person. The former Republican presidential candidate really helped push the theory that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. He has warned that gay marriage will lead to the “destruction of civilizations.”
And now he wants to warn you about the president unleashing nuclear-bomb-related mayhem in order to impose martial law and secure a third term.
“What if the threat of nuclear devastation he helps to arm with this agreement (an America-hating Iran with nuclear bombs) is to be brandished, along with a related threat from ongoing terrorist uprisings on U.S. soil, to create the exigent circumstances needed to justify imposing martial law throughout the United States and a plausible excuse for demanding that Obama remain in office until the emergency passes?” Keyes wrote this week.
“There is nothing in his tenure as president, nothing that we know of him, that indicates that Barack Obama is going to seek a third term,” David Adler, director of the Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University, boldly said in 2012 shortly after Obama was reelected. “Short of a military coup, the 22nd Amendment stands as an insurmountable obstacle to a third-term president today, and there is no evidence to suggest Obama or his supporters are planning on staging a coup. It's a right-wing fantasy cooked up to try to frighten Americans.”
The White House did not respond to a request for comment on whether or not Obama plans to impose martial law, which clearly indicates that he is up to no good.
Now here’s footage of Keyes falling into a mosh pit because Michael Moore told him to do so:
