Obama Would Veto Keystone Pipeline Bill

If the bill allowing for the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline reached President Obama’s desk, he would veto it, says White House press secretary John Earnest. “If this bill passes this Congress, the president wouldn’t sign it,” Earnest said Tuesday. The comments come as a new, Republican-controlled Congress was sworn in. On Sunday on Meet the Press, Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) said, “The president is going to see the Keystone XL pipeline on his desk.”
