Obama: ‘We Don’t Have a Strategy Yet’

In a statement from the White House on Thursday, President Obama addressed the world on fire. ISIS terrorists are losing arms and equipment because of U.S. strikes, Obama said, adding that “our focus right now is to protect American personnel on the ground in Iraq.” However, he also cautioned against rushing in. “I don’t want to put the cart before the horse, we don’t have a strategy yet,” he said. The Daily Beast reported that the president asked for a war plan for ISIS in Syria by Friday. On the topic of the slow-motion invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Obama placed full blame on Moscow. “Russia is responsible for the violence in east Ukraine,” he said. The number of Russian troops fighting in Ukraine has swollen to more than 10,000, according to a pro-Russian rebel leader, and a Ukrainian official claimed that Russian tanks fired at a border post on Thursday then moved into Ukraine.
