Obama to Visit Israel in Spring

President Obama will finally make his way to Israel this spring—for his first visit since he was elected president. Apparently, Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu planned the trip on Jan. 28, when the president congratulated Netanyahu on his reelection. The White House has said it plans to reinforce its relationship with Israel in the start of Obama’s second term, which is probably music to the ears of pro-Israel groups who’ve criticized Obama for not visiting the country since his 2008 campaign.
