Obama: Speed Up Health-Care Suit

The Justice Department might dislike challenges to health-care reform, but they’d rather get them over with sooner. The administration asked a federal appeals court Wednesday to agree to a fast-tracked schedule for a suit that challenges the constitutionality of the law. In January, Judge Roger Vinson ruled the law was unconstitutional, and the government appealed in February. If approved, oral arguments in the case could start as soon as June or July—making an expected trip to the Supreme Court a little bit closer.
