Obama Hones Populist Appeal

Does someone have a pickup truck to lend? President Obama tested his new populist message in Ohio Friday, telling a town-hall audience that he “will never stop fighting” and urging Congress to pass a jobs bill that includes tax breaks for small-business hiring and for people trying to make their homes energy-efficient. He used the word “fight” over a dozen times. He also stood by the endangered health-care bill, saying “I am not going to walk away just because it’s hard.”
