President Obama struggled to keep control of a crowd of Hillary Clinton supporters at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina after an elderly man held up a Trump sign and was shouted down with chants of "Hillary! Hillary!" As the crowd began to boo the man, the president repeatedly yelled "Hold up!" but could not manage to calm them down. "Everybody sit down and be quiet for a second," he said. "Now listen up, I'm serious. Listen up!" Obama defended the Trump supporter as an "older gentleman who is supporting his candidate" and "not doing nothing" to disrupt the event. "This is what I mean about folks not being focused," he continued. "First of all, we live in a country that respects free speech. Second of all, it looks like maybe he might have served in our military and we have to respect that. Third of all, he was elderly and we have to respect our elders. And fourth of all, don't boo, vote!"
