Obama Camp Scoffs at Romney’s Digs

Mitt Romney’s go-to tactic for combatting accusations of being "out of touch" is the old, “I know you are but what am I?” President Obama is the one who’s out of touch, Romney has said. He’s become disconnected from “years of flying on Air Force One,” and he’s definitely “spent too much time at Harvard.” Obama campaign manager Jim Messina called the comment “simply hypocrisy. I mean, come on. Romney’s also a Harvard graduate.” Messina also quipped that “Romney trying to say someone’s out of touch is a little difficult when he’s shopping for car elevators.”
