Obama Calls For Stronger Gun Laws

In his weekly radio address, President Obama on Saturday called for stricter gun laws after the San Bernardino shooting, the latest in a string of shootings that have occurred during the president's second term. The president did not go so far, though, as to call this shooting an act of terror. “It is entirely possible that these two attackers were radicalized to commit this act of terror,” Obama said. “And if so, it would underscore a threat we’ve been focused on for years — the danger of people succumbing to violent extremist ideologies.”
