Obama, Axelrod Slam Rush

President Barack Obama and David Axelrod made their feelings clear about talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh’s comments on birth-control advocate Sandra Fluke during a press conference Tuesday. At a news conference Tuesday, Obama addressed the controversy Limbaugh incited head-on, drawing on his experience as a father, and said people should be able to engage in public disputes without “being demeaned and insulted, particularly when you’re a private citizen.” Meanwhile, more advertisers continued to drop Limbaugh’s show, bringing the total number of advertisers lost to 17.
