Obama Arrives in Hawaii

President Obama arrived in Honolulu early Thursday morning to kick off his Christmas vacation, leaving later than expected to sign the last-minute bills sent to him by Congress. Obama joins First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha at a vacation house in Kailua Bay, around 25 minutes from Honolulu. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Obama plans to work while on the 11-day vacation. Obama will be seeing his sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, who lives in Oahu, as well as several childhood friends.
