The first number one seed in the NCAA tournament has been knocked out, as Villanova was bumped by North Carolina State on Saturday night. After winning 71-68, No. 8 NC State will go on to Syracuse. Villanova was expected to shake off its recent tough history in the tournament. "I know we have to answer to the fact that we did not get to the second weekend again," Villanova coach Jay Wright said. "We have to own that. But it's not going to define us within our program. It's going to define us outside of our program, and we accept that.
