Nuke Plant Fired Chattanooga Shooter

According to a former employer of Muhammad Abdulazeez, who killed Marines in Chattanooga on Thursday, failed to pass a background check when he was undergoing training as a engineer at a nuclear plant. The Ohio-based facility fired him after 10 days once the background check was complete but would not disclose why Abdulazeez did not pass. His brief employment was spent in an administrative building and he was not allowed accessed to protected areas near the reactor.
