Northeast Due for More Heavy Rain

Already water-logged from Irene, the Northeast is facing more rain early this week as the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee move into the region. Rainfall will peak on Tuesday, with at least two inches of rain expected—enough to return rivers, like the Passaic in New Jersey, to flood stages. The storm has also spawned tornados in Georgia, dropped more than nine inches of rain in Tennessee, and led to at least three drownings across the South.
