North Korea Prepares Satellite

Might Hillary Clinton soon have her first crisis on her hands? The Associated Press reports that North Korea is preparing to shoot a satellite into orbit, “its clearest reference yet to an impending launch that neighbors and the U.S. suspect will be a provocative test of a long-range missile.” North Korea has used its right to “space development” before to disguise missile tests: in 1998, North Korea launched a missile over Japan and then claimed it had put a satellite into orbit. The rocket North Korea is expected to launch is capable of reaching U.S. soil.
