New York Plane Crashes in Guyana

A plane leaving from New York overshot the runway at a Guyana airport, halting just before a 200 foot ravine. The plane broke in two, however all 163 passengers on board survived with several injuries. A woman on board told a local news service that a loud sound erupted during the landing and everyone began screaming. "It was terror," she said. "I was praying to Jesus." Her husband opened the emergency door and people began to escape. Others were pulled from the wreckage by rescuers.
