New Details on Nursing Home Rampage

Why did Robert Stewart, the painter who allegedly killed eight people in a North Carolina nursing home Sunday, select the elderly as his target? Police say his estranged wife, Wanda Luck, worked at the home and contend the case may be “domestic-related.” Stewart and Luck first married in 1983, when he was 19. They later divorced and reunited in 2002. Another of Stewart’s former wives tells the AP that he never really got over her. On Monday, relatives were clearing the victims’ belongings. One man said that his father-in-law had been killed, and his mother, who was at the same home, hadn’t yet been informed. “I don’t know how we’re going to tell her. You got a clue?”
