Nevada Poll: Romney Has Strong Lead

Coming off a big win in the Florida primary, Mitt Romney hits Nevada with a double digit lead over his nearest rival, Newt Gingrich. According to a new poll by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and 8NewsNow, Romney has 45 percent support in the Silver State, followed by Gingrich with 25 percent, Rick Santorum with 11 percent and Ron Paul in fourth place with 9 percent. Despite Romney's overall lead, the majority of those in Nevada who strongly support the Tea Party movement lean toward Gingrich. Romney's also currently leading by 15 points in Michigan, according to a new Rasmussen poll. Romney's birth state will hold its primary on February 28.
