The mother of a 9-year-old girl whose body was found inside a duffel bag earlier this month near a Los Angeles hiking trail has been charged with murder, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday. Taquesta Graham, 28, who was arrested in Texas earlier this month on an unrelated charge, was booked on Monday in connection with the death of her daughter, Trinity Love Jones. Graham, who was charged along with her boyfriend, Emiel Hunt, is expected to be arraigned later Wednesday, prosecutors said. If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of 26 years to life in prison. The 9-year-old was discovered in a black rolling duffel bag on March 5 by maintenance workers in Hacienda Heights, California, about 20 miles from Los Angeles.
