More Turmoil in Kyrgyzstan

Things still aren’t settled in Kyrgyzstan: At least one person was killed and 37 wounded in street violence between supporters of former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev and those who support the interim government. Bakiyev’s supporters took over government buildings in two southern cities, but they were retaken by the interim government by the end of the day. The New York Times calls it, “The most serious challenge yet to the new government.”
