Television’s most exciting backstage drama continues to take place at a show that no one watches: The New York Times takes a peek on Wednesday at the tension between Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker on Parker-Spitzer. Asked about reports she stormed off the set, Parker said, “I don’t storm. I saunter.” She acknowledged some “editorial and political tension,” but Spitzer downplayed it. In future shows, more time will be devoted to the topics Parker covers in her newspaper columns. CNN executives also deny rumors of Parker leaving the show.
