More Bolano Novels Discovered

As if 2666 wasn't long enough: The Guardian is reporting an agency in charge of Roberto Bolaño’s ample work has discovered a new, sixth part of the enigmatic author's opus, along with two other novels. The new books are titled Diorama and The Troubles of the Real Police Officer. Bolaño became a hit in the U.S. with the release two years ago of The Savage Detectives, a semi-biographical tale of revolutionary poets wandering Mexico. This was followed by 2666, a baffling 900-page epic with the "femicide" in a stand-in for Ciudad Juarez as its focus. The latest discoveries will undoubtedly add to the mystique surrounding the bohemian author who wrote all his novels in a fit of creativity in roughly the final decade of his life.
