MMA Fighter ‘War Machine’ Arrested

California’s Simi Valley Police, with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service, apprehended fugitive MMA fighter Jonathan “War Machine” Koppenhaver on Friday. An arrest warrant for Koppenhaver was issued last week following an incident in Las Vegas in which the martial artist is accused of beating his girlfriend—adult film actress Christy Mack—so badly that she ended up in the hospital. Koppenhaver was arrested at an Extended Stay America Hotel, where “inside the room there was a small quantity of cash and some pizza,” according to a release detailing the incident. Koppenhaver has since been transported to the Ventura County Jail.
