Mitt Talks Health Care on Leno

Mitt Romney told Jay Leno Monday night he believes people with preexisting conditions should be allowed to keep their insurance. But what about older people who try to get it once they’re sick? “Hey guys, we can’t play the game like that,” Romney said. “But people who’ve done their best to get insured are going to be able to be covered.” As for people who’ve tried unsuccessfully to get insurance, Mitt’s views are unclear. “Only in Mitt Romney’s world of tax cuts for billionaires and elevators for his cars would denying health-care coverage to Americans with preexisting conditions make sense,” the Obama campaign responded.
