The GO Phoenix began searching a new swath of ocean after experts mapped out a new area where the plane is believed to have crashed. The Fugro Discovery will begin searching in mid-October. Both ships will use sonar technology to detect signs of the missing plane. No remnants of the plane, including its 239 passengers, have been discovered in aviation's greatest mystery.
