McDaniel ‘Finds’ 8300 Questionable Votes

You gotta give him credit for persistence. Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel, who lost the Republican primary runoff to incumbent U.S. Senator Thad Cochran, said on Friday that his campaign has found 8,300 questionable ballots, many of which “were unquestionably cast by voters ineligible to participate in the June 24th runoff election.” McDaniel promises a news conference on Wednesday to discuss the “evidence” and his campaign’s next steps. The Cochran campaign, meanwhile, says only a few hundred irregularities were found in the election, where Cochran beat McDaniel by 194,932 votes to 187,265 votes.
