Manning to Be Sentenced Wednesday

Bradley Manning, the 25-year-old who faces up to 90 years in prison for the largest leak of confidential materials in American history, will receive his sentencing Wednesday morning. Manning has already spent three and a half years in custody, which he will be credited for. Private Manning will not be able to make a statement after what an expert is calling a brief hearing. While working as an intelligence analyst in Iraq, Manning leaked documents including Iraq and Afghanistan battlefield reports and State Department diplomatic cables. It took less than an hour and a half for both sides to make closing arguments Monday.
