Man Dies in Failed Condom Machine Theft

A man died in Germany on Christmas Day after a flying piece of metal from a condom machine that he was allegedly trying to rob exploded, police said Monday. The 29-year-old was reportedly working with two accomplices in the western town of Schöppingen. All three fled the scene after the blast, leaving behind condoms and money scattered around the damaged vending machine. The unidentifed man died of head injuries after being taken to the hospital by his cohorts.
